Updates

October 16 2024

Hey everyone! It turns out I’m not the best at writing update posts, so here’s a quick rundown of what I’ve been working on over the past month.
First up, I’ve been putting together an Artifacts page where I’m collecting things I’ve written, drawn, commissioned, etc. Most of the content is already up, though there’s still some left to add.
I’m also happy to announce that the Media Log and Digital Shelf pages have made their return. In addition, I’ve created a new Blueprints page featuring some fun ASCII art to show appreciation to the websites that have inspired mine.
Lastly, I’m still working on the Site Archive page. I’ll come back to that and a few other pages later.

Revamped the Home, Sitemap, Updates, Guestbook, and About pages because why not overhaul the whole layout while I’m at it? Plus, I rolled out a new Site Info page—basically a behind-the-scenes look at how the site was built, plus credits for all the stuff I used to make it happen. I’ve also added a Microblog for those shorter posts that don’t quite fit in the Blog/Lab Notebook but still deserve a little space of their own. Anyway, this is just phase one of trying to make the site a bit more polished and coherent. More tweaks and improvements incoming as usual; it never really stops.

The Metallography & Thin Sections page is now live, though it's still a work in progress—definitely barebones for now. I also made the Blog/Lab Notebook searchable, which should make finding specific entries a lot easier. Speaking of which, all entries have been moved to their own dedicated pages. This will be the standard going forward, so everything should be a lot more streamlined. Lastly, I've added a "Now" section in the About page to keep things current and provide a snapshot of what I'm focusing on at the moment.

The updates list has moved from the front page to its own dedicated section. I also gave the MTMTE shrine a fresh new look (because it deserved some love), revamped the color scheme on the "main" pages to make the overall theme more cohesive, and created a Yuri page.

Launched the Music page; it includes a selection of my favorite albums, a list of songs I love, and a few personal playlists that I’ve put together over time.

Created a new shrine dedicated to The Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye. It's live now, but still a work in progress as I continue to add more content and details.

Wrote a new entry in the Notebook, gave the FFXIV page a much-needed update, and added a Fashion Diary page to share outfit inspirations and thrift finds.

General site cleanup and updates - tidied up a few things that were long overdue. Also added a bunch of smaller pages throughout: Notebook, Poetry Shelf, and Links are all live now.
