Welcome to Meowlecules!

Welcome to my personal website. This is my digital workshop where I cobble together HTML from memory and old Stack Overflow posts; I like to keep things fairly simple here. This space is filled with my thoughts, ramblings on the things that I love, and links to various resources that I find interesting and/or rewarding. Stay as long as you like, and feel free to come back anytime.

For a comprehensive overview of what's available, check the Sitemap. If you’re on desktop, you can also navigate by clicking the icons on the left.

About the Webmaster:

I'm μ (like the chemical potential in a system, the twelfth letter of the Greek alphabet, or kind of like the sound a cat makes), and I'm a metallurgy/materials engineering student and researcher. I work with polymers and metals, and I’m into everything from sci-fi to feminist theory. I have a thing for fashion—especially thrifting and putting together outfits.

If you do link to me, feel free to share your site—I’d love to check it out! However, please note that I don't affiliate with anyone involved in the "Women of the Internet" webring—it's a TERF thing, and I don't support their views or lack of transparency. Go to hell!

A big thank you to ballwizard on Tumblr for the lovely middle button.

Updates

Newest Page(s): Metallography & Thin Sections page, Yuri page, "More Than Meets the Eye" shrine.

September 11 2024

Revamped the Home, Sitemap, Updates, Guestbook, and About pages because why not overhaul the whole layout while I’m at it? Plus, I rolled out a new Site Info page—basically a behind-the-scenes look at how the site was built, plus credits for all the stuff I used to make it happen. I’ve also added a Microblog for those shorter posts that don’t quite fit in the Blog/Lab Notebook but still deserve a little space of their own. Anyway, this is just phase one of trying to make the site a bit more polished and coherent. More tweaks and improvements incoming as usual; it never really stops.
