Weekend Routines and Work Perks

I've been staying in during the weekends, just doing chores and binge-watching romcoms with my partner. It's oddly therapeutic to get everything in order while indulging in some feel-good movies. One thing I've realized during these weekends is how much I love breakfast. I could eat different types of bread every morning and never get tired of it. Sourdough, brioche, rye - you name it, I’m obsessed. Nothing beats starting the day with a perfectly toasted slice and some coffee.

One of the perks of my job is that it's mostly rich white people, which means we go out for lunch a lot. It’s a nice little break in the day, and they tend to pick some pretty fancy spots. As an example, we recently had a company outing to a baseball game, and they went all out by renting a suite with all the food and drinks provided. It's one of those weirdly nice perks of the job that I can't complain about, even if I don't necessarily like the people.

The other day, I finally went out for lunch on my own—first time since starting this job. Grabbed a bagel loaded with tomato, pesto, mozzarella, turkey, and bacon—honestly, it was incredible. I’m ridiculously picky when it comes to food, so the fact that I actually enjoyed it is pretty much a miracle.
